The Birdy TouringPLUS is a folding bike designed for touring and long-distance rides. Touring enthusiasts will appreciate the stability and comfort it offers over long rides. With the highest amount of gears of any Birdy model, the TouringPLUS can easily conquer hills and slopes, while its thick 18” Big Apple tyres give additional cushioning when cycling on roads and rougher terrain.
24-Speed Drivetrain
The TouringPLUS features a whopping 24 gears, due to having both a 3-speed Shimano Sturmey Archer internal hub and an 8-speed Shimano Sora derailleur. It’s capable of shifting smoothly between different gears, allowing the rider to precisely adjust their cadence and speed to match the conditions of the road or trail.

The R1 brake system mimics the powerful performance of traditional hydraulic brakes, but its cable-actuated design makes it a more versatile choice for those who prefer a variety of control options.
